The adventurous tourist will have great fun discovering the Tjust Archipelago on his own with a motorboat. Of course we will show you where you can enjoy a wonderful lunch with fresh fish and where you can enjoy the wonderful nature and rest of this archipelago with your entire family.

We rent open aluminum motor boats (Smartliner 150 & Quintrex 390) of 4 x 1,8 m (max. 5 persons) with 15 hp engines (no license required). We also rent a 50 hp motor boat (Smarliner 500Bass), for up to 7 persons (license required). All our boats are equipped with GPS and FishFinder.

The boats are located in Loftahammar harbour and can be used from there. The rental starts at 8:30 am in our reception (where payment is made and instructions are given) and ends at 6:00 pm in Loftahammar harbour (where the boat will be checked). Other times on request. Since the reception doesn't open until 10:00, you need to book the boat at least one workingday in advance.

If you stay in a house with your own boat spot, you can sail the boat to your house yourself and moor it there to explore the archipelago from there. It is also possible to have the boat delivered to your house. Then the check in and check out takes place there. Price on request and advance booking is required.

The rent includes GPS / fish finder and life jackets. The petrol is not included.

A security deposit of 2.500 SEK will be paid with check-in, which you will receive back at check-out if the boat is in good condition. The deposit covers the most common damage (to the propeller), but please note you are liable for total damage. We offer additional insurance to cover major damages to the boat and its engine, costing 218 SEK/day/15HP), 248 SEK/day/20HP and 278 SEK/day/50HP boat. With this insurance, your maximum liability is 5000 SEK in case of any damage. You can decide to purchase the insurance at check-in. 

If you would like to rent a boat during fish- and high season we strongly recommend to book it some weeks in advance, considering the great demand for these boats.
